What's is "Pachanga"?
Do you know Pachanga is Tiempo’s most long-running party? It is a great opportunity to get acquainted to new people and exchange information with other T.I. members with different interests, as well as to get to know better T.I. instructors and staff. Pachanga also allows you to discover various modes of artistic expression, watch the fantastic and permanently renewed performances of our instructors and the shows put on by the students. And all of this for just a symbolic entrance fee, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Definitely one of Tiempo’s highlights!

Event「MOSAICO~Mosaic」 every Saturday night
The theme of this event is cultural diversity. Cultures have several aspects and dimensions, and cultures influence each other and thus develop...In the same way, mosaic art is created by arranging small differently coloured bits of several textures and materials. So we try to create an event in which several faces of several cultures get together in various artistic ways – like mini concerts, plays, poems, dances, arts, foods, films...Any ideas are welcomed and will be used for each week’s event.

Tablao - Flamenco Show
Do you remember flamenco dancer Miguel Cañas’ breathtaking and emotion-filled performances? If you haven’t seen him yet, then that is your chance! He is a dancer and choreographer with a long experience in the Spanish dance and flamenco world. He was first dancer in the Paco Romero company and in Luisillo’s Teatro de Danza Española company. Miguel returns to Tiempo once again to share his outstanding art with the Japanese audience. He will be accompanied on stage by our flamenco instructor Talita Sánchez, guitarist Thiago Vásquez, as well as singer and special guest Curro Valdepeñas all the way from Tokyo. If you like flamenco, you just cannot miss this tablao!

Our Latin dance instructors, Zoe and Rodrigo, and our tango instructors, Cinthia and Bruno will perform. Mark your calendar!

Tango Dinner Show ~ Rodrigo & Agustina, Bruno & Cinthia ~
To celebrate the pre-opening of Tiempo's new location, we will have a special tango performance by 2 of the best promising couples of Buenos Aires' young dancers, Cinthia and Bruno, and Rodrigo and Agustina. These latter two, who have worked with us in the past, are starting a world-wide tango tour to Europe, Russia and the United States and will make a halt in Tiempo. The dancers will perform to the wonderful live sound of Trio Los Fandangos. This tango show promises to be more glamorous and passionate than ever! If you are interested in tango, you have to come!

Tenjin’s Tiempo Farewell Party
It has already been 9 years since we moved to our Tenjin location. In this span of time occurred many encounters and good-byes. Tiempo is now relocating to a one and only space that we expect to be even warmer, with the participation of everybody wanting to keep on sharing differences.
Tiempo Iberoamericano will close a chapter of its history in July and will open a new door with the unification in the “Daimyo 11511” building of Tiempo and El Taller. For this reason, we want to have on June 13th (Sunday) a farewell party to say good-bye to our memory-filled Tenjin location. This will also be a good opportunity to get to know people from other classes and areas. You will be able to bring your own food or your favorite dish to share it with other people, or if you prefer to order Sancho’s dishes, the kitchen will be open. Let’s have a pleasant evening with Tiempo’s instructors and staff!
