New event「MOSAICO~Mosaic」 every Saturday night at El Taller from May!
The annex of Tiempo, El Taller, starts new event every Saturday night. The theme of this event is cultural diversity. Cultures have several aspects and dimensions, and cultures influence each other and thus develop...In the same way, mosaic art is created by arranging small differently coloured bits of several textures and materials. So we try to create an event in which several faces of several cultures get together in various artistic ways – like mini concerts, plays, poems, dances, arts, foods, films...Any ideas are welcomed and will be used for each week’s event.
Bring your friends with you to El Taller every Saturday night!
- Every saturday night. Performance Starts: 20:00
- Free entrance
- Venue: Cafe Restaurante EL TALLER
Musical "Tango Dinner Show"
Bruno and Cinthia, our tango instructors, together with Trio Los Fandangos, are going to tell us the story of tango from 1900 up to now. This show will not be just dance and music like other shows, it will be a story created in front of our eyes by the dancers and musicians, telling us through their performance what has become of tango since 1900. It can be compared to a kind of musical theatre play, pretty different from the shows presented until now. You should definitely not miss such a special performance!
Join us in the world of tango, and enjoy the dinner show special dish while sipping one of the excellent Argentinean wines the restaurant holds in store for you.

Salson Live with band “High Notes Big Band”
One of the most rhythm-filled salsa bands of Fukuoka, “High Notes Big Band”, will be back this year too with their never-ending energy. Their sound, created by 20 musicians, acts like a magic medicine that make us smile and give strength and enthusiasm to our “heart” (which is the band’s main theme for 2010). Everybody, whether you’re a salsa fan or not, enjoy their music. Even Sancho Panza’s waiters and chefs cannot help from moving their bodies to their enticing rhythms.
Our instructors Nelly and Balodia will, as usual, give a mini dance lesson for those without dance experience and will also perform. Don’t miss out!
